What runners say
When you're in the middle of a lava field with the Atlantic wind in your face and silence all around, you understand why you came all this way. Lanzarote isn't a backdrop — it is the race.
Why it's special
Trail running through volcanoes, lava fields and jable dunes on the Atlantic's most iconic island. Four distances — from 12 km to 67 km — across one of the most unique landscapes on Earth.
What's around
The Unique Trail Lanzarote runs across an island that looks like another planet: black lava fields, extinct volcanoes, jable dunes and coastal paths you won't find anywhere else in Europe. The course passes through some of Lanzarote's most spectacular landscapes, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Four distances for all levels: the Manriqueña Starter 12 km (641 m D+), the half 23 km (1,202 m D+), the marathon 46 km (2,082 m D+) and the ultra 67 km (2,870 m D+). An event built around the runner's experience — premium organisation, environmental respect, territorial promotion. Outside Spain it's still almost unknown. And yet running across a lava field with the Atlantic on the horizon is something no more established European trail can offer you.
