What runners say
I didn't expect to have a real mountain experience right in the middle of the city: tough climbs, breathtaking views, and Barcelona seen from above, from a whole new perspective.
Why it's special
Barcelona's most elevation-packed race
What's around
Two races in one: a 21 km course and a 10 km course, connecting the city between its two main mountains: Montjuïc and Collserola. Starting from Montjuïc Castle, through the most iconic streets of the city, all the way to the other side of Barcelona. The BUFF® Montjuïc-Tibidabo is Barcelona's race with the greatest positive elevation gain: with 450 meters of climbing, it's a true challenge for road running and trail enthusiasts alike. Both experienced runners tackling the 21 km and less trained participants on the 10 km will have the chance to enjoy the best views of the city and the surrounding nature.
